WEIGHT GAIN CALCULATOR

As anectomorph, you find yourself in the unenviable position of perhaps being dissatisfied with your body, but unable to tell anyone, without having your head chewed off in acute anger and extreme envy. Others even unfairly and hurtfully accuse ectomorphs of anorexia, which could not be further from the truth. While it is easy for many to say that we are not all built the same, this courtesy is often not extended as far as those who are slimmer than the norm. Unfortunately, it still seems to be socially acceptable to call names and make accusations, which many genuine ectomorphs simply suffer in quiet despair.
The calorie calculator below is based on minimum cardiovascular exercise, approximately 3 weight training sessions per week and 20% more calories than normally. If you are an extreme hardgainer/ ectomorph and gain next to no weight despite eating a healthy and balanced diet, you can try the calorie booster option, which is 40% extra calories. However, start with 20% extra calories and if that fails increase your caloric intake. The goal is to healthily gain muscle, not a lot of fat.
